The efficiency of newspaper advertising is shown by a recent experience of the Auckland Boys' Employment Committee. The secretary of the committee, Mr. N--0. Cribble, stated that he advertised on two days for 80 boys to fill town and country positions. Since the first advertisement 193 boys had called at the committee’s office. Of these, only 27 were prepared to go into the country, but 20 town positions listed were ouick'lv filled. THE FOLDING CORKSCREW made a Fortune. Millions of men found a ready neeo for a folding corkscrew. Have YOU any such simple ideas of general utility? Consult us fully and confidentially. Henry Hughes Ltd. (Directors, W. E. Hughes and J. T. Hunter), Registered Patent Attorneys, 314-217 D.I.C. Buildings, Wellington. Local Agent?: Ball & Crawehaw.*
