HAWKE’S BAY SHOW
GISBORNE AWARDS HEREFORD (CHAMPIONSHIP Gisborne entries won most of the first prizes in the Hereford cattle section) at the Hawke’s Bay Show, which open-! ed to-day. Messrs. Hutchinson Brothers secured the bull ebamjiibnship with a 2-year-old„ and also won first prizes in the 2-yen if and aged hull, classed.
Mr. F. E. Hurhphries, Ngatapa, with; horned Herefords, took first prizes in, the yeafliiig bull, yearling heifer, ant! 2-year heifer classes, and in the class for the group of a bull and three) females.
