FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA
LORD SEMPILL’S PROGRESS Lord Sempill, a prominent English airman, is expected to arrive at Darwin to-day in a Puss Moth aeroplane, on his wav to the Centenary celebrations at Melbourne, according to priva'te advice received in New Zealand. Lord Sempill, who is a director of New* England Ainvnys, will fly from Darwin down the main eastern route to Melbourne. Later he will return to Darwin, via Adelaide, Perth and Broome. A cablegram published in August stated that Lord Sempill was planning a flight to Australia .the following month. He had accepted an invitation from the Boyal Empire Society, of which he is vice-chairman, to represent it at the Melbourne Centenary celebrations.
