AUSTRALIAN TEAM SUCCESS IN WELLINGTON (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. Australia’s amateur boxers won five of seven bouts against Wellington representatives at the Town Hall this evening and delighted the crowd with clever displays. Results:—' Flyweight.—ll. Cooper (Australia) beat L. Larsen, on points. Bantamweight.—G. Gillam (Australia) beat N. Tanner on a knockout in the first round.
1 Featherweight.—W. Aitken (Wellington) beat J. Moore, on points. Welterweight.- -A. Warliick (Australia) beat J. Plank, bn points; M. Spring (Wellington) beat J. Miles, 011 points. Light-heavy.—W. Burns. (Australia) beat P. Holcroft, on points. Heavyweight.—* S. 0. Inskip (Australia) beat Gordon Lang, on points. The trophies were presented by the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates.
