Suffering from a crushed toe, Edvard MePhee, 34, of Bakuuroa, was admitted to the Cook Hospital on Saturday night. Auckland.—October 15: Arrived, Canadian Leader, 3.30 a.m., from Montreal; Aoraugi, 6.25 a.m., from Sydney; Waimarino, 6.55 a.m., from Wellington. Motor accidents accounted for the entry into the Cook Hospital during the week-end of two men, both suffering from fairly extensive injuries. On Saturday evening, a car struck the bridge near the Kaiti School, on the Wainui road, and Mr. Robt. James Dickson. 22. was later admitted to hospital, Mr. Dickson being one of four occupants of the damaged car. East night a collision between a car driven by Mr. Henry Martin, plumber, and g cycle ridden by Mr. Alfred Singe, near the Roebuck road intersection with Gladstone road, resulted in shoulder and facial injuries to M r - Singe, who later wa? admitted to the accident ward at the hospital. Both accident victims were reported to-day to be recovering .satisfactorily from their injuries.
