BAPTIST CONFERENCE
TO-DAY’S PROCEEDINGS

The Baptist conference this morning welcomed Dr. Alexander Il’odge, the new minister of the Tabernacle, Auckland, and be was received as a member of the Baptist Union of New Zealand. Estimated payments for grants and other purposes were authorised to the extent of £2134. Addresses on behalf of the League of Nations Union, the New Zealand Alliance, and the Students’ Christian Union were delivered, and promises of support were given to deputations on behalf of the union.
