SAVED KEEPER’S LIFE ATTACK BY GORILLA (Received October 12. 3 p.m.) BERLIN, October 11. Tolo, the most popular chimpanzee in the zoo, heroically saved his keeper from death at the hands of ;i gorilla weighing 5COlb. Bobby, nicknamed “King of the Monkey House,” suddenly threw the keeper to the ground and tried to maul him. Toto seized the keeper’s whip and thrashed the gorilla until it ceased its attacks. This gave keepers time to rescue the fallen man.
