ALLEGED FRAUD
TWO MEN REMANDED (I’er Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Charles Ernest Vickers, 44, and Ernest Mabin Gilmour, 39, came before the court charged with obtaining, the former £IOOO and the latter £2OO, by certain alleged false allegations in regard to patent rights of a motor car headlight reflector. Both were remanded to November 14, and bail was granted with the conditions that they report daily to the police and remain in the custody of the police while ships leave here for Australia. Vickers’ bail is £SOO, and Gilmout's £IOO,
