The fondness of children for pantomime was demonstrated to-day when the picture. "Alice in Wonderland.” was screened at the Majestic Theatre. Long before starting time Ibis afternoon the theatre was hooked out, patrons coming from as far afield as Motu and the Coast. So many children were disappointed at not being able to gain admission to-day that the management Inis decided to show the talkie at the Opera House on Monday and Tuesday afternoons at 3.30 p.m., in addition to tho usual 2 p.m. screening at the Majestic.
