MOTOR-CYCLIST’S D3£ATH MOTORIST BEFORE COURT (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, last night. An adjourned inquest was bold at Milton to-day before Air. 11. J. Dixon, 8.M., into the circumstances surrounding tho death of Thomas Twaddle, 18, who was Rilled near Clarendon on Saturday, August 4, as the result of a collision between bis motor-cycle and a. motor car driven by William James Strang, of Invercargill. After evidence had been beard the inquest was further adjourned. At a sitting of the Magistrate’s Court, Strang was formally charged with negligent driving, thereby causing the death of Twaddle. Jle pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial, bail being allowed, self £IOO, and one surety of £IOO.
