CAR HITS POLE
MOTORIST INJURED (Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, lust night. A visitor to Invercargill, Mr George Townshend, whose, address is believed to be ft:’, Hobson street, Auckland, was taken to hospital this evening unconscious from head injuries due to .the car he was driving having a headon collision with an electric light .polo. He condition is reported to be serious, but not critical.
