HARRIER CONFERENCE AUSTRALIAN TOUR PROPOSED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The New Zealand Hawier conference decided last night to ask the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association to make arrangements to sepd a Dominion cross-country team of six to Australia next season to compete yi.t'li- national and Stale teams there. Other recommendations wore that harriers should pay registration fees only if competing in open competition, and that their fees should go to a separate fund for sending cross-country teams overseas. It was decided also to recommend that tho next cross-country championship should be held in Wellington, and the next,marathon by the West Coast (North Island) centre, and also that a 10-mile road championship he established,
