Much interest was taken at Lyttelton last week in a fish captured by a trawler in deep water off Banks Peninsula, ft measured 2ft. long and was grey in color with a skin like, coarse sandpaper. The head was pointed, with a rat-like mouth, containing four teeth. The specimen, which was sent to the museum; jvas recognised as a Rough Shark, a fish that is said to' be very rare in these •waters. V
