PREPARING FOR ARBOR DAY AT WELLINGTON COLLEGE.— Students attending Wellington College paraded on Wednesday for a rehearsal of their duties later in the afternoon, when the Governor-General and Lady Bledisloe were present at special Arbor Day celebrations. Poutukawas were planted by Their Excellencies, and by the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, Colonel Mitchell, Mrs. Knox Gilmer, the Mayor of Wellington, M r. T. C. A. Hislop, and others.
