BOXER SENT TO GAOL
SEQUEL TO ASSAULT QUARREL ABOUT WOMAN (Received Aug. 3, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 2. Jackie Brown, flyweight boxing champion of the world, was sentenced to four months’ hard labor at Manchester for assaulting Louis Tarchnmn, as a result, of a quarrel about a woman. The prosecution said a piece had been bitten from Tarehman’s ear.
