A point martial sentenced .Paul [hull, an ex-army olllcer, to life-long penal servitude for complicity in the Chancellery attack. They found that he was not the ringleader, and, therefore, did not deserve the death
penalty. To-day’s release of the popular exBurgoinaster 'Seitz and other Social Democrat leaders who were arrested in February, and also 100 Socialists and numerous Communists from a concentration camp, is regarded as an effort to establish amity between l)r. Selfuschiiigg and the .Social Democrats, and also evidence of Dr. Sehuschnigg’s recognition of the. impossibility of fighting two fronts. The Chancellery is again surrounded bv barbed wire entanglements.
Ten high police officials have been arrested and will be court martialled and charged with being in secret communication with the organisers of the attack on the Chancellery. MASS FOR DR.
