SCHOONER REFLOATED
LITTLE DAMAGE DONE TOWED BACK TO PORT (Per Free* • Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Showing remarkably little sign of her mishap, the small auxiliary schooner Motiti which was stranded on Saddle Island, near Mahurangi Heads, in stormy weather on Friday last, arrived back in dort yesterday after having been refloated earlier in the day with the assistance of the motor vessel Tin. The vessel escaped very lightly, it was fortunate that -she went ashore at high tide, or she might have been much more seriously damaged. She made no water whilo being toweu to Auckland by the Tiri, and the only damage done was tho breaking of her propeller and shaft, and slight damage to 1 tier false keel.
