In a report to the Southland Power Jldard the engineer mentioned an unusual xause for the interruption of the service on one of the country circuits. He .stated that an opossum’recently climbed a pole ori the Tuturau branch line in the Gore district and caused the middle tibrise to “earth.” The trouble was difficult to locate.
