ASYLUM FOR TROTSKY
NOT IN BRITAIN FREE STATE APPROACHED L- --:a LONDON, May 2. The Government has refused permission to M. Trotsky to live here or in the Channel Islands. He is trying the Irish Free State. The Daily Mail says that the Government has informed Me. J. Maxton ‘hat XI. Trotsky will not ho permitted to reside in Britain. Mr. Maxton is now approaching Mr. de Valera, who is expected to agree.
