FALL DOWN WELL

MAN’S STRANGE DEATH (Por Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, this day. A tragedy occurred near Invercargill last evening when Frederick Longman, 58, a painter, a married man, residing at Waikiwi, slipped and feE head hist down a well on his property. The well contained 3ft. of water, and when Longman was extricated a few minutes later, by a son and a neighbor, lie was dead. The well was sft. deep by 2ft. in diameter.
