Dennison, Auckland, said that owing to the difficulty of the times the volume of customers’ requirements had seen a considerable reduction, and the printing industry had become involved in art ora of unprecedented pricecutting, despite tho obvious fact that debased prices did not promote increased requirements. Only by the determined action of men resolved to see that a just reward was obtained in return for tHe use of brains, labor, and capital, were economic prices likely to return. Re appealed to the printing industry to display more team spirit, and co-operate more closely in matters of mutual interest.
