MISSING ‘PLANE LOCATED
BYRD USES AUTOGYRO FLYERS IN NO DANGER LITTLE AMERICA, March 20. Admiral Byrd, with ;i pilot, and Hying in the autogyro, located the forced down monoplane 15 miles .south-west, of the camp and found Rawlin and Bailey sleeping comfortably and in no danger. Returning to direct dog drivers to the scene, Admiral liyrd landed by one party about nine miles from the camp. On account of the high winds, the autogyro was unable to rise again and Admiral Byrd returned to camp by dog team mid the rescue party was divided, part rushing on ter relieve tho monoplane and the remainder standing by the autogyro while Admiral Byrd sends additional aid. The temperature is about 15 degrees below zero.
