The Waiinea arrived from Auckland this morning and on completion of discharge sailed for Napier. The Poolta completed the discharge of her southern cargo here yesterday, and after loading, sailed for Wellington. The vessel is to load for Napier and Gisborne, leaving Bluff on Monday next, Dunedin on Tuesday, working Oamaru and Timaru on Wednesday, Lyttelton on Thursday, March 8, and thence Wellington. The vessel is due at Gisborne about Tuesday, March 13. t The ivini, loaded with coal for Wellington and Gisborne, is now en route from Greymouth aud Westport, via Picton, to Wellington. The vessel is expected to arrive at Gisborne early next week. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Middlesex (Captain H. J. Wilde) is to load at Gisborne about March 9, taking frozen meat, butter, and general cargo for New York, Halifax and London. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rangitiki, which is loading frozen meat, wool and general' cargo at Tokomaru Bay for London, is expected to sail to-morrow for Napier. The Rangitanc (Captain A. W. McKcllar) is to arrive at Tokomaru Bay about March 29 to load frozen meat, wool and general cargo for London. The Tiroa and Karoro, which are assisting in the lightering of the Rangitiki at Tokomaru Bay, are now expected to return to Gisborne on Saturday. The Blue Star liner Doric Star continued loading in the roadstead to-day. The vessel is expected to depart to-night for Napier, and Auckland. She to clear Auckland for London on March 17. The C. and D. Line steamer Port Nicholson arrived at 7 o’clock this morn, ing from Auckland to continue loading general cargo for London and meat for west coast ports of the United Kingdom She is expected to sail on Friday night for Wanganui and Wellington to complete. The Pakura is due at Tolaga Bay tonight from Lyttelton to load another consignment of sheep for the South Island port. The Pukeko arrived at 6.20 a.m. to-day from Auckland and the Coast. Included in her cargo was a consignment of 27 logs, brought from Hicks Bay for the •Gisborne box factory. The ship was expected to leave this afternoon for Napier The Awahou is due at Gisborne, tomorrow morning from Napiep and Wellington, and after discharge and loading is to sail for Lyttelton. The Margaret W. is expected to arrive at Gisborne to-night from the Coast and Auckland, and will discharge and load here to-morrow. On completion of hei working she is to sail for Auckland. Four American vessels are due to arrive in New Zealand with cargo within the next few months. The silting up of the Buller bar is again a source of trouble, says a West Coast correspondent, and complaints are being made as the- result of shipping being held up. and colliers having to leave t)io port short-loaded.
