SCHOOLS’ CARNIVAL LARGE ATTENDANCE The Gisborne town schools held their annual, swimming carnival in the Gisborne Central School's hath this afternoon in ideal summer conditions. There was a large attendance of parents and children, and the many keen races were greatly enjoyed. The races were started expeditiously under thorough, management. Those in charge were: Mr. C. Rigby; judges, Messrs. P. Clark and R. D. Ward; result steward, Mr. T. Poole; diving judge, Mr. D. McKeague. Results :
