RESTRICTIONS OPPOSED (Special to the Herald.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. U. W. Forbes, informed. Mr. .1. A. Murdoch, member i or Marsden, that the New Zealand Fri'e Marketing Association would bo invited to send one representative to the round-table conference, which will consider the difficulties the. dairying industry. It is probable that Mr. F. Elliott, of Ilikuvangi, president of the association, will be the delegate. A movement is developing under the auspices of the Free Marketing Association to approach the Government to legislate limiting the statutory power of the Dairy Export Board, and that before any drastic changes of export policy are brought into operation they should be approved by a plebiscite of dairy producers. The board’s proposals regarding f.0.1i. sales and Die selection of selling agents will operate from August 1.
