TAXICAB STRIKE
TROUBLE IN PARIS TRAFFIC BLOCKED (Received Feb. 11, 2 p.m.) PARTS, Feb. 2. As a protest against the new petrol tax, only 500 out of 7000 taxis .were plying yesterday. To-day the Strike is intensified, only 400 ears running, while pickets are striving to lessen the number. Meanwhile hundreds of strikers are driving slowly around the chief centres blocking traffic. They* are immune from arrest while they keep moving.
