VISCOUNT CHURCHILL (Received January 4,2 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 3. The death occurred to-day of Viscount Churchill; aged 69 years. Tho first Viscount. Churchill succeeded his father to the barony in 1886. lie was il godson of Queen \ ictoria and a Prince of tho Holy Roman Empire. He was a page to Queen Victoria, and subsequently held a number of appointments to members of tho Royal Family. lie was chairman of several companies, including tho Great Western Railway, the British Overseas Bank, and the Grand Union Canal Company, and a director of the I*. and O.
