WAITAKI FARMERS’ CO. PROFIT OF £4781 (Per Press Association.) OAMARU, this day. At the annual meeting of the Waitaki Farmers’ Freezing Company yesterday tho chairman, Mr. J. E. Austin, in his address, said that the profit, after allowing for depreciation and income tax, totalled £4781, enabling the company to pay a dividend of 3 per cent anil a bonus of 2 per cent, a total of 5 per cent, with £305 carried forward. A comparison of the present output with that of 10 years ago showed that it had doubled. It was 192,470 carcases then, as against 388,419 carcases during the past year. The chain system enabled the works to handle a larger daily killing. The retiring directors, Messrs. J. K. McCulloch, R. Hamilton, and R. W. Trotter, were re-elected. Mr.. D. V. G. Smith was reappointed auditor.
