PROPOSED RESTRICTIONS AUSTRALIAN APPROVAL (Received December 6, noon.) MELBOURNE, Dee. 6. If the New Zealand Dairy Produce Control Board will accept the same cut in shipments, a restriction of 20 percent. will apply on all butter gradings from Australia. The Australian Dairy Produce Export Control Board agreed to a 20 per cent, reduction at a special meeting, and cabled to New Zealand asking for a reply regarding its views on a similar cut there.
The Australian restrictions will not apply unless New Zealand comes into line.
