DOMINION IMPORTS .QUESTION OF TARIFFS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The question of conditions under which Norfolk Tsiaiul products will be admitted to New Zealand is being taken up by the Government with the Commonwealth Government, according to a letter which the Minister of Customs, the Rt. Hon. ,T. G. Coates, lias addressed to Mr. R. Mclvcen, M.l\ Mr. Coates states that in the meantime goods from the island will be admitted at the rates provided for under the British preferential tariff, without the payment of a surtax. They will he on the same footing as goods trom Crown colonies, protectorates, and mandated territories.
