LICENSES REFUSED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Expressing the view that the proposed ‘ (msecs were not suitable men the Wellington Licensing Committee refused to\rant transfers of the licenses of the Caledonian Hotel and the Victoria Hotel. Iri each case tlTe application was adjourned to January 23 to enable arrangements to be made for other licensees to take the hotels.
