AMENDMENTS TO ARTICLES Following the annual meeting of the Gear Meat Preserving and Freezing Company, Limited, on December 15, an extraordinary general meeting will be held at which four resolutions embodying amendments to the articles of association in accordance with the recommendation of the directors will be submitted to shareholders. It is proposed to amend the articles of association by deleting from article 26 the words "in the case of shares not fully paid up” ; by deleting from article 35 the following words: “Provided that the amount at any one time owing in respect of money so raised, borrowed or secured shall not, without the sanction of a general meeting, exceed the nominal amount of the capital of the company. But no lender or other person dealing with the company shall bo concerned to inquire whether this limit is observed, or be otherwise affected by this proviso.” It is proposed, also, to delete from article 62 the words “shares of the nominal value of £500” and substitute therefor the words “500 shares in the company” ; and to delete article 75 (e). Another extraordinary general meeting will be held on January 12 to confirm the resolutions.
