PATUTAHI NEWS
(Herald Correspondent.) The death at the Cook Hospital early on Sunday morning after a short illness of little Robert James (Jimmy) Bryson, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. IV. Bryson, came as a shock to their many relatives and friends throughout the district. The funeral took place at the Patutahi cemetery yesterday afternoon, the Rev. It. B. Spence officiating at the graveside, dose on a hundred beautiful floral tributes included wreaths From the superintendent, teachers and scholars of the Presbyterian Sunday School, the Patutahi Women’s Institute, the Patutahi'Girl Guides and Brownies, the Guides Committee, and the teachers and pupils of the Patutahi School. The school flag was flown at half-mast and the school children paid their last respects by assembling along the route by which tin; cortege passed.
