ANOTHER EXTENSION THE SINGAPORE LINK (British Official Wireless.) Kec. 2 p.m. RUGBY, Nov. 27. The Indian air mail which leaves London on December i) will inaugurate the extension of the service from Rangoon to Singapore. An additional 500 miles is thus added, and the 8700 miles air journey to Singapore will be accomplished in 10 days, half the time of the fastest surface transport. A Christmas mail to the Straits Settlement will be carried.
With the opening of the service to Singapore, only 2300 miles will remain to be completed of the 11,000 miles route from London to Port Danvin, which next year will be regularly operated.
