HIGHER WOOL PRICES PREMIER OPTIMISTIC (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, tLis day. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. \V. Forbes, in an interview, commenting on the Auckland wool sale, said the increased prices would iincau more work on farms as farmers would be able to put in hand that work which had been left undone through the lack of finance. The rise in fine wools was of particular interest to the people of Canterbury and he was very jubilant concerning the increase in the price ol’ the coarser wools of the North Island.
