VICTORY FOR OXFORD (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) LONDON, Nov. 25. Oxford defeated Cambridge by 4f events to 2t events in the intervarsity relay races. The most outstanding performance was Oxford’s win of the two miles by 40yds in 7rnin s<i 2-ssec, which is a record for the contests. Oxford was assisted by Lovelock, who also helped to win the four miles. The New Zealander, Gresson, assisted Cambridge to dead heat in the 440yds. Gresson and the Melbourneite, Loxton, were included among the unsuccessful Cambridgeites in the halfmilo low hurdles.
