A cycling tour to Palmerston North and back has just been completed by Mr. John Newman, of Gisborne. On the wav down he broke the journey at Morere,' Wairoa and Napier. The Gisbornite spent several days in Palmerston North and made the return journey in company with Mr. Harold Baker, who was returning from Wellington for his summer vacation. The cyclists rested at night at Waipawa, Napier, Ivotemaori and Morere, reaching Gisborne without any mishap.
