WELLINGTON’S EFFORT (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Wellington’s Confidence Carnival Week concluded on Saturday with inter-house girls’ sports in the afternoon, anti, at night, a bombing display at Rongotai awl the queen coronation pageant in the Town Hall. The queen contest resulted: Miss Eve Craddock, transport and power, 82,775; Miss Nancy Olphert, aquatic, 78,832; Miss Phyllis Oliver, community services, 39,712; Miss Gretta Stark, sports, 28,579 The monetary results of the week to be handed to the Mayor’s relief fund amounted to £968 11s.
