WOMAN’S BODY FOUND
BOYS’ GRUESOME HAUL (Per Press Association.) HAWERA, this day. Whilst hauling in a flounder net in the Patea River at Patea shortly before 8 o’clock this morning, two small boys recovered tho body of Mrs Adolph Christensen, an elderly resident of the borough. A pair of spectacles and other personal belongings of the deceased were found later on a bargo berthed at the wharf. Mrs. Christensen had resided alone during the past few days in the absence of Mr. Christensen at tho wool sales in Auckland.
