“LESSON TO OTHERS”
MURDERER’S WARN INC BORDEAUX, Nov. 23. “Let this bo a lesson to others,” said Pierre Delafet shortly before he was guillotined for murder. Delafet was sentenced to death in March for murdering his family of six in February, 1932. Intense public feeling was shown against the accused, and troops were stationed outside the law courts to prevent an excited crowd lynching the self-confessed murderer.
