WOMAN’S FATAL INJURIES
CAUGHT IN BURNING' CAR (Per Prints Association.) AUCKLAND, last, night. The death occurred in Auckland Hospital of Mrs Egorton Burleigh Cecil, of Epsom, who was admitted on .Sunday suffering from shock and extensive burns received in a motor accident at Waiuku the previous evening. Mrs Cecil and her husband wore trapped in a small sedan motor car, which burst into flames after skidding and overturning on loose metal on a rise just outside Waiuku. Both were severely burned before Mr Cecil sueceded in wrenching open the door of the car arid releasing himself and his wife. A pet dog in the back of the ear was burned to death. Mrs Cecil was in a serious condition when admitted to hospital, but. her husband was not so badly injured.
