VICAR OF CAMBRIDGE

COMMISSION’S FINDING The decision of the special commission set up by the Bishop of 'Waikato to inquire into the affairs of JSt. Andrew’s parish has been received in Cambridge. The decision read: “That circumstances exist that lead the commission, with regret, to the opinion that it is expedient that the Rev. G. Gordon Bell should be removed from ihis office as vicar of Cambridge.”' Against this decision Mr Bell has the right to appal to a spcial court presided over by the Primate Of New Zealand. The commission, which has now delivered its finding, and which sat at Cambridge on Monday and Tuesday of last week, comprised Mr T. C. Eookes, of New Plymouth (chairman), the Rev. W. G. Weadon, of Pacroit, and Mr R. C. Lowry, of Hamilton.
