RULES NOT ALTERED
LEG-THEORY BOWLING FINAL ENGLISH DECISION (Received Nov. 24, 2 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 23. An important decision bearing on the 1934 Australian cricket tour was reached at Lords, when county captains attended a meeting of the advisory committee anti Board of Control to discuss the counties’ reply to a circular from Maryiebonc dealing with fast leg-theory bowling. Lt was decided that no alteration in tho laws was desirable, but any form of bowling obviously constituting a direct attack on batsmen would be an offence against the spirit of the game. The matter was left to the captains in complete confidence that they would not permit or countenance such a type of bowling.
