BRITISH TRADE POSITION NOT SERIOUSLY AFFECTED (British Official Wireless.) Roc. 2 p.m. RUGBY, Nov. 23. Atmwering Parliamentary questions, Mr Neville Chamberlain said that according to such information as had reached him the depreciation of the American dollar had not, up to the present, seriously affected British trade. Consideration from time to lime would he given to flu* question o': whether, and if so whai, action was necessary in Die interest of Britain. The Chancellor said he had every reason to suppose that the policy of maintaining the independence of sterling was approved by British maniifaclurers and exporters.
