At Darwin Constable Stott, charged with having assaulted an aboriginal, was acquitted, the judge finding him “absolutely innocent.” According to Mr. G. 11. Murray, location engineer in Napier to the Public Works Department, the new concrete bridge at Redclilfe will not be complete before Easter. Actually tlfe contract time was due to expire early in January. This bridge is expected to cost £II,BOO.
