Reserved judgment was delivered by Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court, Pamorston North, in the case in which Harold Jarvis, farmer, of Ilimatangi, claimed £l5O damages from Ashley C. Walls, sharemilker, of Himatangi, as the result of an alleged libel. The magistrate awarded plaintiff £3O damages, with costs according to scale.
