UNFAIR COMPETITION. EARLY ACTION PROMISED (Received November 23, noon.) CANBERRA, NpV. 23. Answering a question in the House of Representatives, the Minister of Commerce, Mr. F. H. Stewart, stated that Hie Federal Ministry was prepared to go to the utmost limit to correct the unfair position created by the subsidisation of United States’ shipping. “We have asked the New Zealand Government to co-operate with us, and we have had conversations with representatives of the American Government,” he said. “We hope the remedy will not be delayed for long."
