FREE RAILWAY PASSES
FIRE BRIGADE DELEGATES (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. On the recommendation of the Publio Petitions Committee, the petition of the United Fire Brigades Association, asking for the restoration of free railway passes to members attending ■ annual meetings, was recommended to the Governent for most favorable consideration. The committee expressed the view that the services rendered by the association were of great economic value.
