For the. continuation of the testimonial cricket match the weather was hot and the wicket fast, being moro helpful to the bowlers. Woodfull’s team in the first innings made 350 (McCabe 82, Darling 30, Oldfield 1(5, Blackie 2, Wall not out 0, Fleetwood-Smith 0, Ironmonger, absent, hurt, 0, extras 14). Ebeling took five wickets for 72. Grimmett two for 108, Lee one for 44, O’Reilly none for 78, Nagel none for 10, Bradman none for 18. Richardson’s team in the second innings lost four wickets for 109 (Finglcton 0, Rigg 2, Bradman 101, O’Brien 42, O’Reilly not out 20, extras 4). Wall took one wicket for 20, McCabe one for 25, Blackie one for 86, Fleetwood-Smith none for 49, Kippax none for 19, and Darling none for 10. s The match was drawn. Ebeling’s fine bowling was a. feature of to-day’s play. The gate for the four days amounted to £1856.
