SEQUEL TO CONFERENCE
BUSINESS MEN’S DEATHS DISEASE CONTRACTED (Received Nov. 23, 2 pan.) CHICAGO, Nov. 22. The deaths of five men, executives in timber concerns in widely scattered Cities in the United States and Camilla, were, laid by the American Medical Association Journal to amoebic dysentery after having attended a. convention here last Hummer. A cable message earlier in the month stated: An epidemic of amoebic dysentery, which already lias caused 15 deaths, lias been uncovered. The source of the epidemic was traced to several hotels and restaurants. Thirty-five known eases have altogether occurred in Chicago, and 100 over the country, within a few weeks.
